Gift Bows Part III

This stunning bow is actually really easy to make!  You can make two of them from one 12" x 12" sheet of Designer Series Paper.

  • Cut a 6" x 12" sheet of DSP
  • Cut 8 1" x 6" strips
  • Turn your paper 90 degrees and cut 1 1"x4" strip
  • Turn your paper back again and cut 4 1" x 5" strips

  • Put snail adhesive on the end of each strip (except the 1 x 4)
  • Fold each strip (except the 1 x 4) gently in half, make a small crease at the edge to give each loop a sharp point.
  • cross the ends over at a slight angle forming the loop and press the adhesive to adhere

  • Make the top loop with the 1" x 4" strip by just forming a circle

  • use a small hole punch and punch a hole in the bottom of the top loop, then in each of the other 12 loops approx. 1/4" from the edge.
  • Use a brad to assemble the layers starting with the center loop, then the 1" x 5" loops, then the  8 1" x 6" loops.
