The new Floral District Designer Series Paper is so bright and cheerful. I love the floral "explosion" that it inspires in me. To put this card together, I used a strip of Floral District DSP, a strip of Whisper White card stock stamped with the coordinating Betsy's Blooms Stampin' Around Wheel. The big dahlia like flower was created with the Blossom Petals Builder Punch. This flower was featured in Stampin' Success - the magazine for Stampin' Up! demonstrators, and is so easy to assemble.
Punch out 8 if the long thinner petals and 8 of the smaller thinner petals. Assemble them on a 1" circle - I used tombo all purpose glue to adhere the petals.
I inked the edges of the flower using my Tangerine Tango marker (punched out of First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper) so it would stand out just a bit from the white background.
