I made this card to show my thanks to the wonderful group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that I am a part of: The Pretty Pals. It's an delightfully eclectic group of stampers of all types, styles, and backgrounds and a continual source of encouragement and enthusiasm.
I wanted to stretch (just a little) outside my comfort zone and style for this card so I decided to reach for a color that I rarely use: Rich Razzleberry. I mixed it with Very Vanilla, Perfect Plum, and a pop of Summer Starfruit. I really love the results!
It has the vintage appeal that I love and the purple colors give it a very regal, royal appeal.

Fun with Fabric Part II
Creating beautiful projects with fabric is so easy! Here is a sweet hair clip - made with Tea for Two Designer Fabric and the 5/8" Flower Trim.
Product Highlights:
Tea for Two Designer Fabric:
5/8" Flower Trim:
- Cut a 2" x 18" strip of Designer Fabric. Fold it in half lengthwise and then fold in half lengthwise again, so you have a strip that's 1/2" x 18"
- Roll it tightly starting at one end, apply glue (I used a hot glue gun) as you go and twisting/folding the fabric strip as you go
- I then glued the Flower Trim around the edge
- I used craft bobby pins (purchased at Beadaholique.com). They have a special round pad for glueing that makes it so easy to attach the flower.
- I used Fabric glue to attach the flower to the bobby pin
