Did you know that Stampin' Up! releases new digital downloads nearly every Tuesday? I'm featuring a gorgeous new digital kit that was released last week called "Spring Break II." It's fresh, floral, and perfect for showcasing Spring or Summer activities and vacations.
I used some of the elements to create this beautiful Thank You card. Most of the creating work I did for this card used embellishments. Embellishments in My Digital Studio can be elements you'd normally think of: brads, ribbon, buttons, but they are also beautiful digital images that can be moved and/or made smaller and layered to create beautiful additions to your cards and pages. I'm so excited about My Digital Studio II (which is coming soon!) because they will be adding the ability to color embellishments, too!
Elements that I used in this card: Spring Break II digital kit, Square Punch, Scallop Border Punch, Rue Des Fleurs stamp brush set.

Son - Shine
Sweet Summer strawberries and sunshine with my son. All begin with the letter "S." That's where I started when creating this page. It was a great jumping off point and the new Storytime product suite was the perfect canvas to showcase our strawberry picking adventures.
I started off with a pre-done template and then removed the elements that I didn't want and added what I thought would compliment my "strawberry theme." The strawberries I made with a combination of the oval punch and the 5-petal flower and then strategically "cropped" them at the edge of the page.
The fun of doing these pages in My Digital Studio is that I have access to tons of papers, punches, stamps and photos - all organized into categories making it easy for me to sift through and find what I like. I also have the advantage of being able to try something and see if it works and simply delete it if it doesn't.
Elements Used:
Template, background papers, and embellishments (striped border, "S") from Storytime Ensemble
Oval punch, 5-petal flower punch, small dot paper, dotted stripe paper, round buttons
scallop border punch, "sunshine" stamp from "Spring Break II" digital kit, "Sprinkled Expressions" stamp brush set (flowers), and circle punch for the flower centers.

By the Seashore Stationary
By the Seashore is a must have stamp set for me. Both virtually and for "real." The sketched images invoke all the beauty of a coastal summer. They stand alone in a simple stationary, but also work in a very vintage and embellished type of card.
I opted for simple stationary using My Digital Studio. It's so cool to click the stamped image and change it's size, rotation, and color at my whim. I can try different sentiments and move them different places until everything is exactly how I want it. No wasted paper or full trash cans!
This stationary set was about as easy as it gets. I picked the image I wanted, moved it to the corner of the card, resized it, and changed to the color I liked. Then I placed a sentiment in the same ink color. No punches, no backgrounds, no layers. Simple and clean.
This card features the color Marina Mist and the sentiment is from the Rue Des Fleurs stamp brush set.
This card features the color Calypso Coral and the sentiment is from the Spring Break II stamp brush set.
This card features the color Soft Suede and the sentiment is from the So Typefelt stamp brush set.
Printing your cards is easy through the My Digital Studio Print service. There is bulk pricing available, too, when you order 10 or more cards. Click here for more information.

Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge 246
I had to enter the Mojo Monday sketch challenge this week. I already had this card made and was so surprised to see the sketch was the same layout I had put together. I love it when things are easy!
The postage stamp punch is new to me and I had fun experimenting with how to use it. Here I stamped the bee and flower image from the Nature's Pace stamp set and cropped it with the postage stamp punch.
The pleated strip was made by attaching two long strips of Patterns Designer Series paper together and then folding them into pleats in a kind of random way - not entirely straight. I stitched it down the middle to hold it to the card and to hold the pleats down. The zig zag like stitch at the very edge is one of many decorative stitches on my sewing machine and I thought it resembled the edge of a honeycomb.
The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set and die cut using the Bitty Banners Framelits.
Supplies:
Stamps: Nature's Pace, Itty Bitty Banners
Paper: Whisper White CS, Sahara Sand CS, Soft Suede CS, Summer Starfruit CS, Patterns Neutral Designer Series Paper, Patio Party DSP
Ink: Early Espresso
Ribbon/Embellishments: Vintage Trinkets, Early Espresso Baker's Twine
Tools: Big Shot, Bitty Banners Framelits, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Postage Stamp Punch, Boho Blossom Punch
